Throwing and Catching

Greetings Chargers!

Kindergarten and First Grade students are learning the proper technique for throwing and catching.  Students will learn to throw underhand as well as overhand, and will apply these skills into a variety of activities.  Along with throwing and catching, students will continue to learn and practice locomotor skills like skipping and jumping.

Students have also started learning about muscles and bones.  Students have learned the location of the deltoids, triceps, quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus maximus, and patella.

This Wednesday students in KB, 1A, and 1C have class.  Kindly remember to send your child in the appropriate athletic shoes.

Thanks for checking in!
