Greetings Chargers!
K-1 wrapped up the jump rope unit last
week with the long jump ropes! They worked really hard throughout the
unit. We will revisit jump roping throughout the year now that students
have learned the basic skills. Keep practicing at home!
This week we kicked off our tossing,
throwing, and catching unit. Students initially learned with scarves, and
have progressed to yarn balls in just a week. The cue words for tossing that you may
hear at home are tick, step, toss. Next week students will learn how to throw and catch properly.
